How can we improve Instaproofs?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

    First off - LOVE Instaproofs! Been a user for many years. Recently have an issue come up several times. SCENARIO:
    - Post a gallery and give one or two specific clients ability to download images
    - Others in the client company can VIEW and of course mark favorites
    - THEN the client wants me to give another person in the client company download access
    - Easy to do by ADDING their email address to the approved list
    - BUT... here in lies the issue I'm having...

    EVERY time the newly approved client goes BACK to the gallery, in their browser,…

    Hello, Tad! The easiest way for your client to get a new set of permissions is to simply have them refresh the page. Just have them click the Reload button, or hit F5, or press CTRL+R, and it will reload the page and give them their new permissions.  If you need them to log in with a different email address for some reason, you can direct them to visit your main gallery list page and have them click into the gallery from there (clicking into a gallery from the gallery listing page will always require them to re-enter their email address).  Hope this helps!     When reviewing an order, we have the option to "skip exact fit" .... can we also have the same checkbox say, and include the feature "skip exact fit and custom cropped" - I always have to click through all those, but i'm not going to change them because the client has already cropped it the way the want to.. Thanks!

    i would love if you guys ever hosted a live demo on clean deliveries and client management.

    i use square space and wanted to know the best way to integrate or showcase Instaproofs albums.

  4. booking invoices

    I would love to be able to see my invoices from the Booking Leads section in the main Selling section - one place to view all the invoices. Right now you can only see the booking leads invoices thru the booking leads section.

    I would love to be able to see my booking leads invoices in the main Selling section. Right now you can only see booking leads invoices in the booking section, and invoices in the selling section. It would be great if there was one place to view all invoices.

  6. Create Add-ons for session bookings

    For example, I charge different travel fees depending on the location of the shoot. I specify these fees in the session description, but there is no way for a client to add the fee before reserving the date. Since we can't change the invoice after the client has signed, I have to send a separate invoice for travel. It would also be nice to have add-ons (in the for of a box to check or uncheck maybe) so if someone wanted to purchase something at a discount upfront, they have that ability - ie: files, products, extra print credit, etc.

  7. Album Shopping Cart

    Let me start by saying that I love Instaproofs. Been with you for a while now, and have 2 accounts.
    I'm really struggling to find a system I feel is not difficult to create, yet something that would benefit photographers throughout the industry.
    Every photographer I know that sells albums does so differently. Usually questionnaires, emails, manual invoices, etc... I personally use the "favorites" option along with the multisearch tool to work with my clients for their album selection. However there becomes a disconnect when the client is selecting their cover (linen, leather, acrylic...), engraving, even upgrading sizes or styles,…

  8. Screenshots/snagged photos and 'right'-click-save

    I am trying to minimize 'stolen' images via screenshots/snagged photos and 'right'-click-save. My website had 'right-click-save' disabled, and gives users the message of "The information you have attempted to copy is protected by International and Federal Copyright Laws and Treaties. Any unauthorized use of this copyrighted material is strictly prohibited." when trying to copy text.

    Is it possible to have something similar for images on Instaproofs, or does it already exist?

  9. Create an Upload Finished sound alert

    Have an alert sound play when an upload finishes to alert me. When I am uploading photos for weddings it always takes a while and I have so many categories to do. It would be great to save time by knowing exactly when it finishes.

  13. Guest checkout, (For In-Store Collections & Payments)

    Hi. Is there anyway to create a guest check out at the checkout stage?
    Otherwise is there any way to not require all the shipping and customer
    information at checkout? I am trying to create a website for in-store
    collection and payments only and if anything only need the customer first name or surname. Thanks

  15. Contract Templates - Last Modified Date

    Can there be a "Last Modified Date" column added to the contract templates page (https://secure.instaproofs.com/manager/pages/contracts/contract-templates.php)? That would help users to know which template (possibly with similar titles) was the most current.

  16. Reminder of Upcomig Sessions to include specific session details

    When I receive the email about upcoming sessions for the week, it only tells me what kind of session is booked, not who booked the session. It would be great to have the name of the person who booked and a link to their booking. When I "view all sessions" from the email, it takes me to all those session types. When I'm in instaproofs, I can't actually figure out how to see who booked the session. It doesn't show up on the calendar view. It doesn't say "not booked" like all other non booked days, but when I click…

  17. Coupon Codes with Expiration Date

    I would like the ability to send customers coupon codes or a booking link that expires after a certain amount of time. For instance, if they book within 24 hours of receiving the code or link, they receive a discount. But if they don't the discount goes away.

  19. Open up Favorite Labels to All Users - not just for specific email addresses

    Do not require a specific email to use the favorites labels. I will have multiple viewers visit a gallery and I would like anyone that logs in to be able to use my default favorites labels without specifying their email address. I would like to use labels like, "Like it", "Love it", "Gotta have it" so that my clients can sort and narrow down their order. Or better yet, just let me set default favorites labels that I can apply to all galleries and whomever logs in can use.

    On the main page, the search feature searches just the galleries.
    Inside a gallery, we can search for a specific photo.
    Can you enable an option so the search bar from main page to search also for photos/meta?
