Category downloads
Hope we get the ability in the future to only permit or give access to
downloading categories in addition to whole and individual file downloads.
It would be great to allow one group access to one category (like

Automatically allow my (photographer) email to hide, download and bulk down images from the client's gallery.
Right now I have to add my email address to all three options for each gallery as an 'additional address'. Automatically include my email address in these options so I don't have to type it in 3 times for every gallery.
1 voteThank you for the suggestion! Before we look into this too much, can you give us an idea of how/why this would be used? As the photographer you can already download the images from your admin (and you presumably have an additional copy on your computer as well) and you can delete out any images that you choose. What extra benefit would you receive by allowing yourself to do this through the storefront as well?

Longer default display date
I shoot primarily weddings and clients frequently book their engagement sessions a year before their wedding date. I create their engagement photos, and then many months later add their wedding images and just realized that the event is set to expire almost immediately.
I've been manually adjusting the expiration date to 500 days, but I'd like to set that option default in preferences. Currently there's a 270 cap.

Make the slide show pictures larger
I haven't been on instaproofs for a long time, and came back to a disappointment.....it seems like the slide show images are TINY now. It seems like it could be hard for a client to accurately judge whether they liked a photo if the subject is even a little smaller in the frame. It would be great if there was a way to click on the image to make it full screen, or at least a little bigger.

Digital Downloads
It would be great if there was a way to make digital downloads easier, I get emails constantly from clients who just can't figure it out, or a link expires and they didn't get to download yet.
I think its pretty self-explanatory but maybe we can brainstorm a new way to make it even easier :)

We agree with you that it is pretty simple, but you may be able to get rid of one of the complaints by just a simple change to one of your account settings. You can change the number of days that the download is available for through the “Instant Image Download Timeframe” preference, found in the “Storefront Misc Options” section of the preferences page. You can set this all the way to 60 days if you would like. What other suggestions do you have for the downloads?

Have the images automatically sort by capture time.
Have the option to select how to sort the images automatically without having to remember to go in a change it.

Bulk Email Templates - One layout/customize text
I'd like to have one basic HTML template (that contains all my tables, layout, colors, etc) with stock text. Then as I go to create or edit other emails, I don't have to recreate the whole layout each time. I can just edit the text only. If I have 10 custom bulk emails and then decide to change my layout, I currently have to hand-edit each one, even if the text isn't changing.

Update Email Templates
Can we have a feature where when we edit a template in "bulk Email" we don't have to "resave it" we can just click "Update this template".
Currently i have to delete the old template so I can re-save the updated template under the same title.

make interface easier to use
hi. i love instaproofs for its service and its features, however i find the interface for managing my events and account very convoluted! for example, to change the pricing on an existing event, i have to click on the event, click manage, select a category to manage, click to select all images, click to edit images, then finally i get to the dialog box where i can change the pricing. that's like 6 or 7 clicks, and hard to find! i often find myself getting frustrated and clicking all over the place trying to find the simple things i want…

Number of unique visitors
Would like to see some type of notification as to how many different email addresses have been collected for each event without having to access the email list for that event

bulk email to just the vendors that are connected to an event.
Hi, I was hoping to send a bulk email to just the vendors that are connected to an event. I am not seeing how I can specify who I want to send a message to with out getting others in the message that are not supposed to be involved. Is there a way around this? It close when I go to the bulk email section and go to select each event but I can't do select people in that event. Its making me do all in the event and I only want to select the vendors.
Can this be altered?…

editing email templates
I would love to see a way to edit in-template on the bulk email templates setup. So if I need to make any changes, I don't have to save the whole email as an entirely new template. Just edit and save.

Make "Download Event" link easier to see
Is there a way to highlight or make the "Download Event" link more visible? Right now it's just a tiny green link.

Default option for free downloads on full events/categories
I would love to see a default option to automatically set downloads for all categories in an event instead of going to each category and manually setting it every time I upload a new event. I have several wedding categories and have to manually update this on every category.

Password reminders for clients
When the event reminder emails go out, if the event has a password activated, a reminder of the password is also on the email as many clients forget 6-12 months down the line.

Easier event downloads
I would like there to be a button I could push at the top of the event
where it would allow everyone to download everything as they like. I get
calls from grandma's and mothers on how they can download the whole album
and it is such a pain to have to put the bride and grooms emails in each
