How can we improve Instaproofs?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  1. The retry upload could be improved.

    Retry all button: When uploading many images if there is a string of 10 or so that dont upload for whatever reason (happens often to me due to network connection) when the upload is finished i scroll up to where the errors are and click the 'retry' button and it immediately scrolls me down to the bottom and I can't scroll up any more until that photo is done uploading. If I have many photos that I have to do that to then in takes a while. A retry all button would be spectacular.

  2. 'Upload Finished' should be red if any photos didn't upload

    The 'finished uploading' part of the upload page should indicate that there were photos that didn't upload. When uploading hundreds of photos we don't notice that there are ones that had an error and didn't upload unless we scroll up. It should indicate that there were some errors.

  3. button for Canvas gallery wraps on the print sizes / sets

    Under the "Create Print Set" page, beside the "Print Set Type" there are two buttons to choose from - standard print set or instant image download. It would be great to have another button to choose for canvas gallery wraps. Since they can be auto fulfilled it would great to have an easy way to add this option for orders. Thanks!!

  4. Permissions

    I would like more options for permissions of individual images. Currently, any changes made affect all email addresses provided under "individual image permissions". For example, I want the bride and groom to be able to download both full event and individual images of entire event, but I only want family members to be able to download from the family category

  7. I would like to be able to add print sizes and prices together

    maybe I'm not doing this properly, but I dont see a way to add print sizes and their pricing.. it would be great to have it in the same page as 'modify pricing template' where you have the list of sizes.. just to 'add new' and go from there

  8. Fix the lightroom plugin

    Every time I upload through lightroom, I choose a pricing template, and I seem to always have to then go to the FTP site and choose it all over again. Very frustrating...

  10. re-activate expired events with less clicks!

    we like to run sales, having to go through so many motions to reactivate old events is a major time waster. lets find a way to reactivate events much more quickly!

  12. Make US printing available to Canadians

    Currently the only option for Canadians is to self fulfil everything...which is a ton of work! Other proofing companies have things set up with WHCC and Bay Photo that allow canadian photographers to skip the need to self fulfil everything. Clients order from their gallery and WHCC or Bay Photos takes care of the printing and ships to the client in Canada. If you guys could do something similar, you would have a lot more canadians that would use your service because of the ability to do the email marketing and flash sales. Current proofing sites available to canadians lack…

    It would be nice to see activity my albums receive each day on the dashboard. That way i can see which ones I need to promote better and who I need to follow up with.

  17. Ditch Swipe

    The credit processor Swipe makes it more difficult for some of the clientele who prefer paypal and they take a pretty considerable percentage fee that isn’t shown or reported to your customers selling photos using instaproofs. There’s no easy way to track how much we’re loosing by using your site and Swipe vs doing orders through a manual process and collecting payment through other means and marking invoice ‘paid offline’

  20. Create a Event Preview mode

    I would love the ability to be able to preview my gallery before activating/releasing to a customer. That way if I need to rearrange or see things one more time I'm not messing up the expiration dates or sale dates. I'd be happy to provide more insight on this if it's helpful too!
