How can we improve Instaproofs?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  1. Download Favorites on Client's End

    Would love for clients and vendors to be able to download their favorites folder on their end rather than me having to go in and manually send them the link. This gets repetitive and is frustrating for my vendors/clients.

  2. Automatically allow individual downloads for events

    Instead of having to manually allow downloads for each category of an event, I'd love to see an option where you can check to automatically allow downloads for the whole event or for all categories. This gets very tedious to do!

    Thank you for this suggestion, Tara! There is currently an option to allow downloads from ALL categories when you are defining download permissions for individual email addresses; will this work for what you are hoping for?

  3. file numbering

    I need to have customers only see the file numbers when they are looking through slideshows or whenever they are looking through images. I've had several people contact me with the wrong numbers because they are just looking at the number the picture is and not the actual image file number. This gets very confusing to me and the client.

  5. Larger Center Watermark

    Please find a way where as I can make my watermark larger in the center that you allow now. I would rather not put it like I need it to be on my uploads so I can begin selling Digital Downloads. Cannot now because I put the Large Watermark on the upload.

  6. High resolution download PIN

    I really like that Instaproofs allows an option for instant downloads, I just wish it weren't for the full resolution file. I also don't like having to input specific email addresses to give access to those files. Is it possible to use a PIN system to give access to the high res downloads?

    Ultimately, I would love bulk downloads in low resolution (for guests or outside family members) and a PIN to give limited access to the high res files.

    Thanks for the suggestion! To have your images sorted correctly each time you upload, without having to select “Natural Sort”, have your image export software pad your images to 4 places before (or during) the upload process. For example, instead of uploading "category-01’ upload ‘category-0001’, and instead of ‘category-119’, using ‘category-0119.’ Doing this will allow your images to display in the correct sequence with no additional action needed on your end after the images are uploaded.

  8. New Sale Type

    I would love to be able to make a sale or discount code for a certain product - or make a sale and exclude certain products.

  9. Turning off image sequence display

    Would like the option to disable the image sequencing that displays on the top right hand corner as some of my customers refer to their images with those numbers instead of the actual image numbers below the photos. Trying to make it less confusing for the grandparents and those less tech savy.

  10. Display event password in event list

    I would like to see the password of the event displayed next to each event on the admin log-in as I often revisit old events to show new clients examples of my galleries.

  11. Display info on how much space each event takes up

    As I only have 50GB of space for images on my current plan, I would like to see which events I have uploaded full size and which I have uploaded with the 1024px restriction.

    It would also be fantastic if there was an option to downsize older events within instaproofs without having to delete the event and then upload again at the smaller size.

  12. Stats by folder

    Looking for stats on the download and purchase counts per folder per event. Anything you can do to help would be great. Even if there is a way to download all of those details, then I could just rollup the numbers, but it must include the folder name and image name.

  14. Download of Favorites

    It would be great if people could download the images they favorite directly to their computers vs. having to ask us to do a workaround to get them their favorites. It is kind of annoying when you are in the busiest time of your year to have vendors and couples constantly emailing asking if this is an option.

  15. Share "Favorites" with relatives/friends

    I've had a few brides ask me about this... They create a list/gallery of their favorites, and want to share JUST those 50-100-etc favorites on facebook... This seems like a great option as brides will be more inclined to share their instaproofs galleries on facebook, driving more traffic (and more sales).

  16. Allow all users access to 'Download All' option

    For some corporate clients it would be great to allow all guests to have the ability to download all images (without having to specify the email addresses of all the people who should have this ability)

  17. Create Specific Invite Email Templates for Each Category

    I would like to be able to create specific "invite" emails for each of my categories. Family, Newborn, Maternity... etc... VS. having only One email for all events. Is that possible?

  18. Resend Download/Digital File Order

    I've had multiple clients not download their paid digital files right away and the download link expires. An option in their order to "resend" would be helpful. Thanks.

    Thank you for your suggestion! If your client receives a download link and then subsequently forgets to download the files, a new download link can be created by simply clicking the Download button again on their original order receipt. However, since this may not be obvious to the purchaser, we will review our options for adding a "resend links" type of button to the default download email.

  19. Creating discount and date range won't save

    I'm creating a holiday sale and the date range for my discount won't save.

    In my account, it's the 1 Day Extension sale. Can this be looked at and see if there's anything I'm doing incorrectly?

    I've tried several adjustments with no luck.

  20. bulk price albums

    It would be great to have the option to do add on albums, same design, same images, just add a certain discount if they purchase 2, for example.
