  1. I offer a number of prints in my packages and like to give out "thank-you"
    prints for great reviews, contest winners, etc... Since all of the images
    are uploaded already through instaproofs, I would love to be able to place
    orders on the back-end. Ideally, you would be able to access multiple
    albums and place orders through the Fullfillment Tab ("Create Order," or
    something) As it is now, I either order from someone else (re-uploading
    all of the images) or pay the fees on the Storefront and wait to be
    credited back for the purchase later. I have thought about…

    Thank you for this suggestion! We have plans for putting together a way for you to create and add items to an order on the backend, but it is not yet in the works. For now a workaround to paying and waiting to be credited (minus our fee) might be to setup a single high-value discount code that only you are aware of, and using that each time you checkout through your storefront. This way you don’t have to spend any money just to create an order for yourself. Thanks again for the suggestion! We’ll update this suggestion again when another method has been put in place!

  2. It would be handy to view at a glance when each event is set to stop being displyed so I can see for example John & Kellys wedding is live for 60 days and I can see when it has 10days left before them come off so I could let the client know this.

  6. I had recently noted that ther was no logout button. Adam replied in regards to the administrative site which does in fact have a logout button. I, however, was referring to the new interface which does not have any means of logging out...at least in mobile mode using Chrome / Android 4.4 on my Galaxy S5.

    Gary, I think I see what you are saying. It looks like when you are on a small device the header area (with the logout link) is not sizing properly. We’ll look into getting this fixed, but a workaround for now is to simply zoom out (pinch-inwards) when you want to logout, and the links will then be displayed again.

I don't know if this already exists, but I would love a way for clients and guests to be able to preregister after seeing photos in the mobile app, or after a teaser on FB, or after their engagement session. Currently, if I make their event visible for registration, I am also activating the event which isn't ideal if I'm 2-6 months from releasing the event.

    Hi Airika! Thanks for the suggestion. You can actually set your event to be displayed, and collect email addresses from it, before the event’s active days start counting down. The event “active days” countdown begins when 2 or more images have been uploaded to an active event. Does this functionality take care of what you are hoping to accomplish?

It would be wonderful to have the option to require clients to read the photographer's copyright agreement (maybe an uploaded pdf) and to check a box saying that they read the agreement before they are able to download any images. I would love to have the copyright file stored so that it can be used for each gallery and would not have to be uploaded for each gallery. Thanks!

  12. Is it possible to remove the 'add shipping address' when the purchase is a high res download only. I do not offer prints and it has previously confused some clients as to why they need to input they're address.

  13. When creating a mobile app, I shouldn't have to go all the way back out when adding new photos. I have to click all over again that I want PREEXISTING photos, then pick them. It'd make more sense if it asked you just once and then let you go back for multiple photos. And the fact that the passwords for the albums forgets the password immediately and you have to relogin a billion times isn't attractive to customers and is annoying to the photogs like me as well. Just some GUI workflow improvements that work like a human WOULD work,…

  15. Slideshows are great, but we are clearly missing a retail opportunity here. It would be great for customers to be able to create their own slideshow using a new ADD TO MY SLIDESHOW button.

    They can view their "MY SLIDESHOW" for free with the watermarks of course, but only while the event is current. Therefore a nice reminder at the end that the slideshow is available only for a limited time and can be purchased and downloaded would probably be a nice reminder.

    The purchasing of the slideshow could Perhaps be a two tier option (£xx.xx per image with watermark…

  16. I have noticed that often when I have a download option enabled on the event, it is not uncommon for whole orders to be made up of downloads. Wouldn't it make sense that when ALL items ordered are Downloads, and if all items have been downloaded, the customer is automatically sent an email with their receipt/invoice attached and the order status is automatically set to 'shipped' (or an equivalent status of Downloaded).

  17. I really love the the instaproof site and mobile Android app, and we have now been using it for several years.

    Appreciating the fact that the app was clearly not designed with British customers in mind as everything is shown in USD, I find the app extremely useful to keep track easily of orders coming through without having the hassle of trying to use the main administrative website from my phone.

    I think the following would significantly improve the app...

    1. View Visitor counts/Email addresses (per event) ~ including how many times each person had visited, and the date/time of their…

  18. I want to prevent clients with existing discount codes from combining discounts during a sale. I almost had that happen recently and the product would have been free! This is no good!

  20. I have packages set up for my clients. I want to be able to offer them extra prints 8X10 etc only if they buy a package and I cant do that now. if you could set that up i think it would be great
