How can we improve Instaproofs?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Provide Email Tutorials

    1.) Tutorial on how to set up email templates
    2.) Tutorial on how to utilize Bulk email
    3.) When looking at "Email list" under the Event, provide instruction on what the different email preferences are and what the advantages are of each one.

  2. Ordering through mobile

    As a millennial, I know how important mobile usage is. Please make it so people can order prints via their phone. It would increase revenue for the both of us. Please also allow PayPal or Apple Pay for these services as well. Convenience is key.

    Thank you for the suggestions, Slusser! Can you explain a little more (as a comment on this suggestion) what you mean about people not being able to place their orders on their phones? We have many many people placing their orders using their mobile devices without any trouble. Please expand on this a little bit so that we can look into a solution for you. Also, PayPal is a payment option on all of our storefronts. Thank you!

  4. Easier event downloads

    I would like there to be a button I could push at the top of the event
    where it would allow everyone to download everything as they like. I get
    calls from grandma's and mothers on how they can download the whole album
    and it is such a pain to have to put the bride and grooms emails in each
    time.

  5. make interface easier to use

    hi. i love instaproofs for its service and its features, however i find the interface for managing my events and account very convoluted! for example, to change the pricing on an existing event, i have to click on the event, click manage, select a category to manage, click to select all images, click to edit images, then finally i get to the dialog box where i can change the pricing. that's like 6 or 7 clicks, and hard to find! i often find myself getting frustrated and clicking all over the place trying to find the simple things i want…

  6. Showing/Choosing event type in storefront

    Showing event type in storefront, or make customers able to choose to show only one eventtype.
    At the same time, being able to attach multiple eventtypes to one event.

  7. Add Black & White and Sepia options to Instant Digital Downloads

    It would be a great idea to Black & White and Sepia options to Instant Digital Downloads. This would create extra income for both photographers and for yourselves at Instaproofs as well.

    It seems like such an obvious idea because Instant Digital Downloads seem to be the future - so it would be great to give customers extra reasons to spend money at Instaproofs.

    I hope you will consider it - and get it up there as soon as possible, thanks.

    Thank you for the suggestion Antony. Please clarify for us this: how would this result in more sales for you than selling standard instant downloads? You customers can already purchase an instant download, and with that they can convert it to anything they would like (sepia, b&w, etc.). So, how would limiting your customer to a single option (b&w can’t be converted back to color, for example) help you sell more of your images or encourage your clients to spend additional money?

  8. Warn before deleting

    I would love to get an email before Instaproofs delete and event, so that I can decide whether or not to extend it.

    Would like to see some type of notification as to how many different email addresses have been collected for each event without having to access the email list for that event

  10. bulk email to just the vendors that are connected to an event.

    Hi, I was hoping to send a bulk email to just the vendors that are connected to an event. I am not seeing how I can specify who I want to send a message to with out getting others in the message that are not supposed to be involved. Is there a way around this? It close when I go to the bulk email section and go to select each event but I can't do select people in that event. Its making me do all in the event and I only want to select the vendors.

    Can this be altered?…

  11. Better Viewing Gallery

    I am evaluating several services currently and the one feature that appear lacking here is the gallery. People so far have really liked the galleries I've made with sites like Pixieset or PASS. Such a feature here is something I would consider paying more for (or as an add-on to your premium storage service).

  14. galleries

    It would be great if you had bigger image viewing capabilities. Pixieset and PASS both have modern looking galleries where you can see a grid as well as individual images that are very large. I don't like their services as much as yours, but I would love to see this change as well as my clients. They complain that the gallery is awkward for viewing. :-)

  15. Buy Croped pictures as downloads

    Now you have the option to crop prints.
    Why not ad that option to downloads so costumers can make crops and download them?

  16. Add location and date to new store front grid design.

    This is very important for people who don't know names from an event or just remember the town. Most importantly the locations (city & state) were helping google search engine.

  20. Merge the pricing for Lab Connection with templates

    It would be helpful to see the "profit" earned as a high res subscriber through the Lab Connection agreement, the shipping, and the 15% we give to Instaproofs, based on the pricing we put on our photos and on our shipping in one page, with a link to edit the shipping or photo price as needed. It would also be helpful under the template to see the product that would be purchased, and for customers to be able to choose the product being printed on when they make the order. It would also be helpful if there was a warning…
