How can we improve Instaproofs?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Allow discount days to apply different percentages for prints vs products

    I'd like to set a different percentage off for prints and products during a discount days sale. For example, on days 1 through 14 prints could be 40% off, but also on days 1 through 14, products are only 20% off.

  2. Copy images to another gallery

    I would love to be able to copy my favorite images to a different "gallery". For example, I want to be able to save my all-time-favorite images in a hidden gallery so I can have a resource to pull from for marketing and social media. Thank you!!

  4. It would make it easier and a lot more user friendly if the clients can download all their favorites at once with one click.

    Right now you have it to where the only way you can do that is if I write in "No download limit," but sometimes they pay for a certain amount ahead of time, ie.. 50 or 100 photos. It would take them a long time to download 100 photos one by one. I figure they should be able to add all their favorites to an album and then just download the "Favorites"album.

    I hope you can make this a feature soon. It will make it easier for the client and it seems more professional. Also, I don't want to email…

  5. Universal Email Access

    I wish the e-mail address we had on file with Instaproofs got automatic download access. This way, I can grab photos for social media without getting out my hard drives and making it a whole process.

    I wish there was a way to have a gallery go on sale on or right before a couple's 1 year anniversary. If I had this function, I would have the gallery expire just after their 1 year and have that be the biggest sale (50% opposed to the 40% at the beginning).

    I know I could do this on my own, but I love your automation stuff and know I would probably not be able to keep track.

  8. Mobile App Image Limit

    I really need to be able to add more than 50 images to a mobile app for clients. Most other gallery companies allow 150 or more so that I can add all the images from a portrait session to a mobile app and sell or gift the app for added value and revenue.

    Right now, with a 50 image limit on instaproofs mobile apps, I have to pay a subscription to different gallery company to get access to their mobile apps and at that point it doesn't feel like it makes sense to be paying double when the other company…

  9. Import client orders made via Instaproofs into Quickbooks.

    Right now I'm manually typing in invoice details into Quickbooks when a client orders via Instaproofs. It would be nice to have an app that integrates and connects to Quickbooks for studio management.

  10. Enter download limit within the gallery types

    It would be nice to have the option of setting download limits in the settings when you create a new gallery type. For example, I have a mini session gallery type - my mini sessions include 5 digital downloads but I have to apply this setting in each gallery instead of assigning it to the gallery type.

  11. Ability to edit session details after the client books

    I feel like it would be a huge benefit to be able to edit all session details after the client has booked.

    For example, if the clients asks for a payment plan after booking I would like to be able to create an invoice with installments and then change the payment collection method within their booking page to ‘retainer upfront +

    We take time to add keywords tags in Lightroom. It would be awesome if Instaproof, which is already awesome, could use these existing keywords tags. Clients could benefit from that. They could, say, be inside a gallery of 500 photos, but filter it down by clicking on the tag links to show only a part of the results. Great to filter down by years, seasons, moments, section of an event, brands, people, places, types, etc.

    Hello.
    I like to give access to my clients, through a QR Code.
    But every time I create a QR Code, I have to use an external platform. I leave the suggestion to Instaproofs, to create the QR Code within the platform, without the need to resort to external services.
    What do you think?

    A direct "contact me" link for photographers to be able to integrate into their websites. This will allow clients to be added to the photographers Instaproofs database before the client can see the pricing. The way it is set up right now, when a potential client is directed to the "leads page", the first thing they see is pricing.   17. Make Gallery accessible by specific email addresses only

    I have a gallery that I want to make accessible by specific email addresses only. The client is sharing the link with others and I want to prevent that behavior without having to confront them after the fact.

    I realize I could set a password, but they'd easily share that and it would still allow access by new email addresses. I also realize they can just tell people to log in using their email address to get access, but I think that's less likely to happen.     I would also like to see FTP uploads process immediately rather than having to process them later. I want to be able to upload directly from my camera and have clients looking at the photos and purchasing as the event progresses. This also has a use for photojournalism where my editor can grab images and post almost live to social media.

  20. Support wildcard emails for permissions

    It would be nice to be able to use wildcards for gallery download permissions. So an entire company or domain can access the full download. For an example: *@company-inc.com
